But if you want my honest opinion, and I'll tell you this for a small fee, the best & cheapest place to buy a PC is

Cheap as Chips! and mass production means that they will become cheaper

For 1 year, you can phone up Mr. Dell and say "Hello Mr. Dell, I've a problem with my PC, can you help?" and Mr. Dell will say "Of course I will, that's what you paid £300 for!" 

And Dell are not only selling this service in the UK, they're selling it in America, India, Australia... etc. etc. Dell are out to corner the Home Market because they know that within 5 years every home on the Planet, like they had a VHS Video player, like they had a DVD player will have a PC in their Living Room replacing their Stereo, Cable Box, DVD Player... etc. etc.

Because

Microsoft are just releasing Windows Vista & a New Part of the Windows XP Operating System, that only comes with a new PC, called Windows Media Centre both are fully geared up to control your Stereo, Cable Box, DVD Player... etc. etc. check it out, it's cool!

and even if you hate Microsoft with a passion, 

because they've released it, your gonna be using it because everyone else will be using it...

If Bill released a Virus that affected Humans in a Service Pack, how many survivors would there be? I rest my case!!!

When your 1 year runs out with Dell and you have a Problem, you don't contact them, you contact Me

I know Dell make such good PC's, that they will last a lot longer than 1 year. I have worked on Dell that are 5 - 6 years old!! and still going strong
